Intaglio: Etching and Print Workshop with Anett Frey

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of drypoint etching – from preparing the printing plate and inking to professional printing on a specialized intaglio press.

Inspired by the Janosch exhibition, we will develop our own fantasy or animal worlds through drawing, which will then be etched into a metal plate with a needle and subsequently printed. During the printing process, you can experiment with color and motif as you wish.

The workshop is suitable for beginners aged 10 and up. Also for people with disabilities – the NKT is barrier-free.

The material fee includes all consumables such as handmade paper and inks, as well as the use of all necessary tools and equipment.
