Gregor Gysi, born in Berlin in 1948, is a lawyer, author, podcaster, presenter and politician. From 1990–2002 and from 2005–2015, he was parliamentary group leader of the PDS, and later of the party “Die Linke”, in the Bundestag. There, from 2020–2023, he was the Left parliamentary group’s spokesperson on foreign policy. Gregor Gysi is also a successful author, including with his bestselling autobiography “One Life Is Not Enough”.
