Meilensteine – albums that made history
2026-11-16 - 5:00 PM
Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen, Schaffhausenstraße 123, 72072 Tübingen
Passion, humour and legendary songs – the ARD music podcast “Meilensteine – Alben, die Geschichte machten” will come live to Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen in 2026.
Host Frank König and the “Meilensteine” team will discuss in Tübingen, in keeping with the current exhibition “Ronnie Wood. The Artist”, the first Rolling Stones album with Ronnie Wood on guitar: “Black and Blue” from 1976. With great charm and expertise, the team talks about the most creative moments and the greatest challenges faced by the music stars. It is about the stories behind the songs, behind the albums, and why this music does not let go of us to this day.
You will experience a live recording, can ask questions, join in, and be right up close as a new podcast episode is created from exciting anecdotes, expertise and a great passion for music.
A special highlight will be that the recording will take place in the middle of the exhibition, surrounded by Ronnie Wood’s works. Be there for this special moment – the original paintings with the matching soundtrack and the associated stories will be live on 2026-11-16 at Neues Kunstmuseum Tübingen.
“Meilensteine – Alben, die Geschichte machten” is a production by SWR1 and is released anew every Monday on ARD Sounds and on all major podcast platforms.
Please note: The event is being recorded for a podcast. By participating, you agree that you may be recorded and may be heard in the published recording.
